I ve had this issue where my shown memory usage wouldn’t add up to the actual usage aka “memory leak”. I still have my doubts but updating “killer network” drivers definitely helped to get more accurate numbers.
This is not the first time killer network caused me problems; I’ve upgraded my internet plan and I wasn’t getting the upgraded speed, to my surprise “killet network manager” was the one limiting it, based on the previous calculation it did.
Anyway, I was never a fan of network / Ethernet managers, however that killer network manager’s application manager seemed like a good replacement for Netlimiter bandwidth shaper i’ve used for a long time.

TL:DR; keep your “killer network” driver & software in check.
